Map Settings

Overview

Map settings configure the Atlas map — the geographic interface where visitors explore your signals, places, and traces.

Default Center and Zoom

Set the default center coordinates (latitude and longitude) and zoom level that the map uses when a visitor first loads the Atlas. Choose a center point and zoom level that best frames the geographic area your realm covers.

  • Latitude — The north-south coordinate of the map center
  • Longitude — The east-west coordinate of the map center
  • Zoom Level — How far in or out the map starts (higher values are more zoomed in)

Tile Provider

The tile provider determines the visual style of the base map. Different providers offer different aesthetics — satellite imagery, topographic detail, minimal street maps, or dark-themed tiles. Select the tile provider that best suits your realm's content and visual identity.

Marker Clustering

When many signals are concentrated in a small area, individual markers can overlap and become unreadable. Marker clustering groups nearby markers into a single cluster indicator that expands as the visitor zooms in.

Configure clustering settings to control how aggressively markers are grouped and at what zoom levels clusters break apart into individual markers.
