Update a shape's core information at any time:

• Name -- Revise the shape's display name
• Description -- Update or add a description that captures the meta-pattern

Managing Clusters

Add or remove clusters within the shape to refine its scope:

• Add clusters -- Select additional clusters to include
• Remove clusters -- Detach clusters from the shape without affecting the clusters themselves

Clusters removed from a shape remain in the system with all their signals and analysis intact.

AI Analysis

Run or re-run AI analysis at the shape level. Shape analysis synthesizes across all member clusters and their signals to identify the broadest patterns in your archive. Re-analyze after changing cluster membership to get an updated view of the meta-pattern.

Reflections

Reflections at the shape level provide the highest-order interpretation, considering the full scope of all member clusters, their signals, and their individual analyses. Generate or write reflections to capture insights about the overarching pattern the shape represents.

Sharing

Shapes are the highest level of shareable context. A shape's permanent URL gives recipients access to the full hierarchy: the shape's analysis and reflections, its member clusters and their analyses, and the individual signals within each cluster. Visibility settings apply at every level of the hierarchy.
