[0:01] good morning fellow humans my toilet's
[0:04] in the picture we can't have that you
[0:08] know what I'm keeping that in just
[0:10] because oh it's kind of funny so I'm
[0:14] just going to start by saying this is
[0:16] going to be a boring update so if you
[0:18] aren't a subscriber mind you're not
[0:20] following my journey probably want to
[0:21] just click off feel like I maybe need to
[0:24] say that in all of my videos because I
[0:27] always get comments from people who feel
[0:29] like they've been personally attacked
[0:32] because they're watching a video that
[0:33] they're not interested in don't give a
[0:36] [ __ ] you
[0:37] know YouTube wasn't made for just you it
[0:41] was made for other people too you're not
[0:43] going to like everything you
[0:46] see the sense of entitlement though can
[0:48] you I mean pretty wild but yeah there's
[0:52] a comment I'm thinking about I got this
[0:53] morning I I'm going to paste that right
[0:55] up there for everybody to see
[1:00] it's not uncommon I don't know why
[1:03] um you don't have to like everything you
[1:06] know you can just move along it's not
[1:09] going to kill
[1:11] you so all right so I got to give you an
[1:14] update on the tires uh I did go down
[1:16] there it wasn't didn't go well uh the
[1:19] woman that I saw the first time was
[1:21] there and she basically just criticized
[1:24] me
[1:26] and made me feel even more incompetent
[1:29] than I already already feel and it's
[1:31] just like I knew that was the experience
[1:33] that I was going to have did in front of
[1:35] all these customers and I'm just like
[1:37] yeah this is exactly what I expected
[1:40] from her so I called the corporate
[1:44] office after that and then the owner
[1:47] called and I talked to him this morning
[1:50] he says that she's been working there
[1:52] for 30 years and has never had any type
[1:55] of a problem with customers from her and
[1:58] I'm like there's no way that she's just
[2:01] you know there is no way that mine is
[2:03] the first time
[2:05] that somebody had an experience like
[2:08] that with her there's just no way but
[2:11] you know whatever I'll you know we can
[2:12] move along from that um he is being
[2:16] helpful thankfully uh he's I think
[2:19] coming out himself like I don't know if
[2:22] it's tomorrow or not like I guess we
[2:23] haven't really set a date I have to go
[2:25] to the dentist tomorrow so I won't be
[2:28] here um but he's going to help me get
[2:32] extenders put on them so that I can put
[2:34] air in them myself and he's just going
[2:37] to make sure that they're safe enough to
[2:39] drive down to the shop and just deal
[2:41] with the problems right
[2:43] so hopefully that's all going to work
[2:45] out it definitely shattered my sense of
[2:48] safety like I just feel like that is the
[2:52] foundation of an RV your tires and if
[2:55] you don't trust your tires then you just
[2:58] this it just makes everything else feel
[3:00] like it's just collapsing around me I I
[3:02] truly feel that way so I will feel a lot
[3:05] better when that that is
[3:07] fixed um the other thing I want to talk
[3:10] about
[3:11] so a couple of days
[3:14] ago all of a sudden I couldn't see
[3:17] YouTube comments anymore not just on my
[3:19] channel but on any channel and I'm like
[3:21] that's weird like is there some kind of
[3:23] a you know maybe there's some kind of an
[3:25] issue that YouTube's having and it turns
[3:27] out no there's this setting that's
[3:30] supposed to
[3:31] block some comments explicit ones and
[3:36] you toggle it on I don't remember what
[3:38] the it's some kind of it's just a
[3:39] setting um but this isn't a thing I
[3:41] turned on it says that it's being
[3:43] Network enforced which means that my
[3:45] router you see it in the background
[3:47] there a travel router it's connecting
[3:50] and it's it's an intermittent problem so
[3:52] sometimes I see comment sometimes I
[3:54] don't and so I just kind
[3:57] of worked out that the issue very likely
[4:00] is that the travel fire Roder randomly
[4:03] is connecting to a cell network some you
[4:05] know one of their providers who has this
[4:09] setting enabled for all of their
[4:11] customers who on YouTube like that's
[4:13] crazy but that's what's happening so if
[4:17] I'm not responding to your comments
[4:18] don't feel like I'm ignoring them or
[4:21] anything like that it's just can't see
[4:24] comments now I don't I don't know what
[4:25] to do about it I could complain to
[4:28] travel five but that's not going to you
[4:29] know
[4:30] I'm certain it's not them doing it so
[4:32] it's
[4:33] just a new spin on RV life challenges
[4:39] that you have so um another thing I know
[4:43] is related so you know that I some of
[4:46] you know that I
[4:47] had um hidden my Channel at one point
[4:52] and set everything to private and then
[4:54] when I turned it back on all the
[4:56] comments were gone and I you know I was
[4:58] disappointed about that and I realized I
[5:00] didn't address it and I I probably
[5:02] should have um I don't want you guys to
[5:05] think that I had like deleted all the
[5:06] comments I had I didn't do that they
[5:08] just I thought
[5:11] that um at the time I thought when I
[5:13] turned it back on
[5:15] that you know for whatever reason
[5:18] private videos can't have comments so
[5:20] and I didn't know that so when I did
[5:23] that I thought it deleted all the
[5:25] comments so well it turns out no I I
[5:29] just discovered this last night all of
[5:31] those videos had comments turned off so
[5:34] I re-enabled those and then the comments
[5:36] reappeared so they're all there I'm
[5:38] happy about that because it
[5:40] shows
[5:42] um you know our ongoing dialogue like
[5:46] there's me on camera talking about my
[5:48] life and then there's you guys who
[5:51] are commenting on my life I guess right
[5:54] so um I'm glad that's there because it's
[5:57] kind of like you know a historical
[5:58] record and it's all there so I just
[6:01] wanted to point that
[6:03] out I definitely see Bailey back there I
[6:06] don't know what he's up to I need to
[6:08] find something for him so I went outside
[6:10] today to take pictures of the tires for
[6:13] this guy and he was just crying want out
[6:16] um I don't have that tent thing that I
[6:18] had it was so hard
[6:22] to
[6:24] um get that thing back into a little
[6:26] circle that goes inside of you know
[6:30] I I couldn't deal with it so I gave it
[6:32] to the the um resident caretaker here
[6:36] I'm like do you want this thing I don't
[6:38] know what to do with it but I got to get
[6:40] something for him right so I'm might go
[6:43] to Walmart or a petmart and just see if
[6:45] there's something I can get you know
[6:47] like the kitty City stuff that I had but
[6:49] that's all at my parents never going to
[6:51] see that again
[6:53] so oh I did say this would be a boring
[6:56] update I don't have a whole lot going on
[6:59] so I am going to get leveled today I
[7:02] think um I haven't been leveled since I
[7:05] got here and I'm not sleeping well I
[7:08] only think that's part of it cuz that
[7:10] mattress is still a challenge to sleep
[7:13] on and I was watching some of my older
[7:15] videos yesterday just from a couple
[7:17] months ago and I'm like this environment
[7:20] is just aging me like I feel like it's
[7:23] aging me my back hurts I feel
[7:27] old um I hate that mattress like I I got
[7:31] to deal with that I'm thinking maybe
[7:32] I'll just get like a a small twin-sized
[7:36] one so it won't take up the whole Space
[7:38] part of it you just see the bed platform
[7:40] but that's kind of like not an issue for
[7:43] me you know so maybe if I got just a
[7:46] normal twins siiz mattress like a real
[7:48] mattress that would be easier to take on
[7:50] and off too it's kind of where my head
[7:52] is with that right now I'm debating it
[7:55] because you can buy RV mattresses that
[7:58] have those hinges on them
[8:00] and
[8:02] um I don't know I don't know maybe you
[8:05] guys have some thoughts on that I I
[8:06] would like to hear about that
[8:09] because it's been 4 months I got to deal
[8:12] with
[8:13] [Music]
[8:14] it where was my train of thought going
[8:17] with that there was something on my
[8:19] mind Bailey don't even think about
[8:22] coming up here all right
[8:24] so what does that have to do with baile
[8:27] I don't know he's just jumped up here
[8:28] though hold on so I know you're never
[8:31] going to get all people to be polite on
[8:33] social media I mean that's obviously a
[8:35] pipe
[8:37] dream and you just kind of have to
[8:39] ignore it but it is just a fact that
[8:43] negativity has a way of just infecting
[8:45] your brain right so somebody says
[8:48] something rude and you're going to just
[8:50] stew on
[8:52] it shouldn't even admit that because
[8:54] then you just kind of invite it but I'm
[8:56] you know I'm too honest for that I'm
[8:58] just going to be honest about it
[9:00] I have but I actually think that over
[9:03] time at least for me that becomes less
[9:07] of a thing Bailey is really messing with
[9:09] me come on
[9:10] Bailey always you got to be on me this
[9:16] cat is the most needy cat I have ever
[9:19] had in my life and when I lived in my
[9:22] house my mother used to make me feel bad
[9:25] because I didn't want him on me all the
[9:27] time like she just that's the amount of
[9:29] emotional manipulation I had to deal
[9:31] with like I
[9:33] couldn't that cat wants to be on me all
[9:36] the time which makes me feel
[9:37] uncomfortable you know like I just I
[9:39] need my space and then my mother would
[9:42] turn around and make me feel bad
[9:45] for needing that space so I couldn't win
[9:49] like it wasn't you you couldn't win I
[9:51] still can't win because this cat you
[9:53] know he's very demanding
[9:55] but
[9:56] um I got to get him something he need
[9:59] some outdoor time I think watching my
[10:02] videos yesterday saw Oliver
[10:05] and I miss
[10:07] him I do miss him but I don't know what
[10:11] to do about that like I have mixed
[10:13] feelings on one hand I do think that
[10:15] he's better off where he is especially
[10:18] now because so much time has passed on
[10:20] the other hand that's my cat I love him
[10:22] I want him with me I want him with
[10:25] Bailey um and
[10:29] third hand I guess I despite all of
[10:34] that I do not want to go to that house
[10:37] so it's just an impossible
[10:41] situation um it was kind of fun watching
[10:44] my old videos I was so idealistic about
[10:48] this
[10:49] journey I was super idealistic about
[10:52] what I was getting myself into at the
[10:55] same time I'm thinking let's get some of
[10:58] that back because
[11:00] is I was definitely dreaming about a
[11:03] lifestyle that I'm not living right now
[11:06] so but
[11:09] that I I'm going to find a way because
[11:12] I'm I'm just determined to that cat is
[11:14] just being a
[11:16] terrorist what are you
[11:18] [Music]
[11:23] doing
[11:26] I Bailey
[11:32] totally lost my train of thought so um
[11:35] kind of know I was think talking
[11:37] about it's kind of interesting I was
[11:39] watching this one video of
[11:41] mine well I watched quite a few actually
[11:44] and it just felt
[11:47] like it's amazing I get on this camera
[11:50] like it's absolutely amazing because I'm
[11:53] watching this video I'm like yeah you're
[11:54] a little bit uncomfortable there I can
[11:56] see it you know I'm still un comfortable
[11:59] like this is not a natural thing for me
[12:01] to
[12:03] do I hope that it is
[12:06] serving myself and you guys
[12:11] because yeah you know it is kind of a
[12:14] good thing so that kind of brings me
[12:15] back to my point
[12:17] so I really need to get
[12:21] over so somebody wants to leave some
[12:24] stupid nonsense on my channel it's like
[12:27] okay I don't know you don't care about
[12:30] you you're
[12:33] probably way below my level I'm just
[12:36] going to be honest you know like why do
[12:40] I give a [ __ ] what you think like that
[12:42] is the attitude I'm trying to develop
[12:43] for myself and I'm getting there I don't
[12:46] care that that sounds arrogant I truly
[12:48] don't because I have spent my whole life
[12:50] apologizing for being different for
[12:52] being smart for being introspective for
[12:55] you know all of it and I'm just done
[12:58] with that it's like no people are so
[13:01] shallow these days people are so shallow
[13:04] these days that I now
[13:07] realize it's just dumb of me
[13:13] to to care like why why should I care I
[13:17] I
[13:19] just why did I ever care you know like I
[13:23] had a very
[13:24] idealistic and Idol what am I trying to
[13:27] say here I I
[13:31] had I like
[13:35] any what is the expression I'm looking
[13:38] for
[13:40] here it don't matter
[13:45] so I just feel like I'm looking at the
[13:48] world now a little more clearly than I
[13:50] used to like I seeing
[13:55] that I'm just seeing a lot of things I'm
[13:58] being careful here cuz not trying to
[13:59] offend people but I just you know I get
[14:03] comments like that all the time and it's
[14:05] just
[14:07] like I don't even feel bad for those
[14:09] people I'm just like wow that person is
[14:12] just living on a superficial level like
[14:15] I I I can't imagine living like that
[14:20] so you
[14:24] know no idea what I'm doing today but
[14:26] I'll figure it out I hope you all have a
[14:27] good day

Narrative

The morning began with a framing error he declined to correct. The toilet was in the shot. rswfire noticed it, said so out loud, and then kept it — a small decision made in the first ten seconds that set the terms for everything after. He opened with a warning that the update would be boring, and then with an aside about how often he feels he has to say that: the comments arrive from people who watched something they never wanted and took offense at its existence. He described the sense of entitlement in it as wild. He said he had one such comment in hand from that morning and intended to paste it on screen for everyone to see.

Then the tires. He had gone down to the shop, and the woman from his first visit was there. He states she criticized him and made him feel more incompetent than he already feels, and that it happened in front of the other customers, and that it was exactly the experience he had expected walking in. He called the corporate office. The owner called back that morning and told him the woman had worked there thirty years with no complaints — a claim rswfire named directly as implausible, twice, and then set down rather than argue. The owner is being helpful. Valve extenders are coming so he can put air in the tires himself, and the owner will make sure they're safe enough to drive to the shop. A date hasn't been set; the dentist is tomorrow. Around this, rswfire made the architectural statement the rest of the transmission would keep returning to: tires are the foundation of an RV, and if you don't trust your tires, everything above them feels like it's collapsing. He said he truly feels that way.

The second failure was in the other ground beneath him. Two days earlier the YouTube comments had simply stopped appearing — not only on his channel but on every channel — and he had assumed a platform outage until he found the setting, the one that filters explicit comments, toggled on and marked as network enforced. He hadn't touched it. It came and went, which pointed him at the travel router visible over his shoulder, intermittently attaching to whichever carrier network was available, one of them apparently running that filter across all its customers. He called it crazy, then called it a new spin on RV life challenges, then told his viewers plainly that if he isn't answering them, it isn't avoidance — he can't see what they wrote.

The third piece was a recovery. When he had hidden the channel and set everything to private, the comments had vanished, and he had let people believe — had believed himself — that going private deleted them. The night before, he found the actual mechanism: those videos had comments turned off. He re-enabled them and the entire record reappeared. He wanted to correct the impression that he had deleted anything. What mattered to him was the shape of what came back: him on camera talking about his life, and the people who responded to it, both halves intact. He called it a historical record and said he was glad it was there.

Bailey moved through the frame the whole time. He had cried at the door that morning while rswfire was outside photographing tires for the owner, and there was nothing to put him in — the pop-up tent had defeated every attempt to fold it back into its circle, so it went to the resident caretaker. Walmart, maybe, or a pet store. The kitty city is at his parents' house and he stated he is never going to see it again. He was going to get leveled today; he hasn't been level since he arrived, and he isn't sleeping well, though he thinks the mattress is the larger share of it. He had watched his own footage from a couple of months back and said the environment feels like it's aging him — his back hurts, he feels old. He turned the mattress question over out loud, an RV mattress with the hinges versus just buying a real twin, easier to haul in and out, the bed platform showing on either side not being a problem for him, and then asked his viewers what they thought. Four months, he said. He has to deal with it.

Bailey climbed onto him mid-sentence and took the thread with him. Out of that came the mother: in the house, she made him feel bad for not wanting the cat on him constantly, and rswfire named that as emotional manipulation and as a situation he couldn't win, then noted he still can't, because the cat is exactly as demanding as it ever was. In the old footage he had also seen Oliver. He said he misses him, and laid out the three positions he holds simultaneously — that Oliver is likely better off where he is now that so much time has passed; that Oliver is his cat and he loves him and wants him here with Bailey; and that regardless of both, he does not want to go to that house. He called it an impossible situation and left it standing as one.

What he took from the old videos, though, was the idealism. He watched himself being idealistic about a journey he hadn't started yet, dreaming about a lifestyle he stated he is not currently living, and said he wants some of that back, that he's determined to find a way. He also watched himself be visibly uncomfortable on camera and noted he still is — that this is not a natural thing for him to do — and said he hopes it serves him and them both. Then he closed the loop back to the comment he'd pasted at the top. Someone leaves nonsense on his channel; he doesn't know them, they're probably below his level, and he said he's aware that sounds arrogant and does not care that it does. He has spent his whole life apologizing for being different, for being smart, for being introspective, and he stated he is done with that. People are shallow, he said, and repeated it, and said he can't imagine living on that level. He was careful not to aim it at anyone. He said he sees the world a little more clearly than he used to. Then he said he had no idea what he was doing today but would figure it out, and wished them a good day.

Summary

rswfire opens the transmission noting the toilet visible in frame and choosing to keep it, then flags the update as routine and addresses viewers who comment negatively on content they did not seek out.

He reports on the tire situation: a return visit to the shop went poorly with the same employee, so he called the corporate office. The owner called back, stated the employee had worked there 30 years without customer complaints, and rswfire states he does not find that plausible. The owner is arranging valve extenders so rswfire can add air himself and confirm the tires are safe enough to drive to the shop. He states tires are the foundation of an RV and that losing trust in them makes everything else feel like it is collapsing.

He traces a YouTube comment visibility issue to a network-enforced content setting, likely applied by a cell provider his travel router intermittently connects to. Separately, he discovered his previously hidden videos had comments disabled rather than deleted; re-enabling them restored the full comment history, which he describes as a record of ongoing dialogue.

Remaining items: getting the RV leveled, replacing the mattress — possibly with a standard twin instead of a hinged RV mattress — after four months, and finding outdoor gear for Bailey. He describes missing Oliver, who remains at his parents' house, and states he does not want to return there.

He closes by comparing current footage to older, more idealistic videos and stating he is done apologizing for being different.

Environment

Interior of the RV, filmed to camera in the morning. The bathroom fixture is visible in frame at the open — rswfire notes it, declines to reframe, and keeps it. A travel router sits visible in the background, and the shot includes the bed platform and mattress he discusses. Bailey moves in and out of frame throughout, climbing onto him mid-transmission.

The digital environment is equally load-bearing: YouTube as the channel surface where comments arrive, are network-filtered, and were recovered from the private-mode archive. Connectivity runs through a Travel Fi router intermittently attaching to carrier networks. External locations referenced but not present: a tire shop, its corporate office, a dentist appointment, Walmart or a pet store, and his parents' house.

Substrate

The signal holds a single architectural thesis across three surfaces: the ground beneath the vehicle (tires, leveling, mattress), the ground beneath the channel (comments, archive continuity, network interference), and the ground beneath self-assessment (a lifetime of apologizing for being different, now being withdrawn). rswfire names tires as the foundation of an RV and states that untrustworthy tires make everything else feel like collapse — foundation-layer integrity is the load-bearing concept, and he applies it identically to physical infrastructure and to whose judgment gets standing. What is being dissolved is the permission structure by which strangers' assessments carry weight; what is being built is an explicitly stated internal standard he declines to apologize for, alongside a recovered public record of the channel's dialogue.

Entities

beings
rswfire — Recording the transmission; documenting infrastructure repair, platform mechanics, and a stated shift in whose judgment carries weight.
Bailey — Cat present in the RV, described as highly demanding of contact; repeatedly enters frame and climbs on rswfire during recording.
Oliver — Cat left at his parents' house; rswfire states he misses him, believes he may be better off there, and does not want to return to that house.
tire shop counter employee — Unnamed woman rswfire states criticized him in front of customers on both visits; described by the owner as having 30 years without complaint.
tire shop owner — Called rswfire back after the corporate complaint; described as helpful, planning to come out and fit valve extenders.
rswfire's mother — Referenced as making him feel bad for not wanting the cat on him constantly; he names this as emotional manipulation.
resident caretaker — On-site person who received the cat tent rswfire could not repack.
places
the RV — Full-time residence and recording setting; tires, leveling, and mattress are its unresolved infrastructure layers.
his parents' house — Location of Oliver and the stored kitty-city equipment; rswfire states he will not go there.
Walmart — Named as a possible source of outdoor gear for Bailey.
systems
YouTube — Publishing and comment surface; the site of both the network-enforced comment block and the recovered comment archive.
Travel Fi router — Travel router visible in frame; intermittently attaches to a carrier network that enforces a comment-blocking setting.
corporate office — Escalation path used after the second in-person interaction; produced the owner's callback.
media
the older videos — His own archive from months prior, rewatched the previous day; source of the observation about idealism and about visible discomfort on camera.
the comment archive — Recovered record of viewer dialogue; rswfire frames it as a historical record of the exchange between his life on camera and viewer response.

Ontological States

Expressed modes of being or awareness.

sovereign (withdrawing standing from external judgment; states he is done apologizing for being different, smart, introspective)
embedded (operating inside vehicle infrastructure, platform mechanics, and carrier networks he does not control)
recalibrating (measuring current conditions against the idealism visible in his own earlier footage and stating intent to recover it)
load-bearing awareness (tires named explicitly as the foundation whose failure propagates to everything above it)

Engaged Subsystems

Architecture engaged in this transmission.

infrastructural (tires, valve extenders, leveling, mattress — the vehicle's foundation layer)
institutional (tire shop counter, corporate escalation, owner intervention)
technical (travel router, carrier-enforced YouTube setting, private-mode comment behavior)
archival (recovery of the full comment record; rewatching his own earlier footage)
somatic (poor sleep, back pain, the stated sense of the environment aging him)
relational (Bailey's demand for contact, Oliver's absence, the mother dynamic named as manipulation)
