[0:00] that I have a rug I'm trying to get used
[0:02] to you know taking my shoes off at the
[0:05] door but it's a little difficult like
[0:08] these shoes take up so much room and
[0:11] space but yeah that's real important um
[0:15] out here I just kind of you know it's
[0:17] from
[0:18] cleaning I have one of my storage ples
[0:21] can hold two of these blue bags I told
[0:23] you that in a different
[0:25] video uh I put one away and I'm just
[0:27] trying to figure out what to do with
[0:28] this stuff I think I should probably
[0:30] pack this up every day um especially
[0:32] today cuz it said it might
[0:34] rain you know the cats can have a
[0:37] different configuration
[0:39] like cuz you know I have lots of little
[0:41] modular pieces I love that cuz then it's
[0:43] like a new environment for them all the
[0:44] time Bailey didn't come or Oliver didn't
[0:47] come out today only Bailey I was
[0:49] surprised it's my campsite over here um
[0:54] just trying to find room for all my
[0:56] stuff like let me show you I bought this
[0:57] today when I went to get my Jeep I went
[1:00] by my
[1:01] house and I got some more the stuff that
[1:03] was in my bedroom I showed in like a
[1:05] video like like one or two videos ago
[1:08] it's all my camping gear I I don't know
[1:11] what to
[1:13] do I just I don't have the space I don't
[1:17] I just don't have the space I'm really
[1:19] trying to figure it
[1:21] out so yeah I think I'm going to just um
[1:24] it's starting to get late I'm just going
[1:26] to just I have a bunch of clips that
[1:28] I'll share with you guys and and then um
[1:31] just a bunch of Random clips from today
[1:34] and they're not in any particular order
[1:36] um you know I just want to document day
[1:38] 13 so I'm going to do that now and then
[1:41] just do the stuff around here I need to
[1:43] get done I hope you guys have a great
[1:44] night um Carolyn shared I just just
[1:49] learned this Carolyn shared my video I
[1:51] made about her I was shocked like all I
[1:55] can say is thank you and just I'm just
[1:58] ODed by that I mean she does inspire me
[2:00] that video is all about
[2:02] how you know she changed my life I'm
[2:04] here I'm doing it it's amazing I just
[2:08] got back from picking up my Jeep did it
[2:10] first thing in the morning it's like 2:
[2:13] or 3: in the afternoon but anyways
[2:15] here's my camper right there and I
[2:17] thought it was somebody else's I thought
[2:20] I was driving you know I didn't know I
[2:21] was this close to the entrance I just
[2:23] kept driving by and out thinking that
[2:25] was somebody else that little thing
[2:28] right there TOS my Jeep it is so cool I
[2:31] love this life I can't wait to see my
[2:34] cats I've been worried about them like I
[2:36] just I just I love them too much day 13
[2:40] everybody yes I'm still wearing the same
[2:43] shirt I got up and went straight to um
[2:46] my parents house to get my D back
[2:50] knowing that video is coming out so I
[2:52] just didn't want any
[2:54] drama um I put well Bailey's out here
[2:58] put this together for them um I got to
[3:00] clean up in there got to clean up in
[3:03] there so I can get a new rug down
[3:05] Oliver's not ready to come out yet
[3:06] though I think he will though big tunnel
[3:09] that leads nowhere I got more stuff at
[3:12] home they're little cubes and you can
[3:14] kind of extend stuff with them the
[3:15] tunnels but I forgot them and I was
[3:18] there cuz I went to get my Towing GE
[3:19] left it there
[3:21] and forgot it the one thing I meant to
[3:24] get and forgot it but I'll get it you
[3:27] know I want them to have other things
[3:30] I think that um here we go probably see
[3:32] him in there just chilling B right
[3:37] here you want to come out
[3:39] Oliver or you want to chill in there not
[3:43] too sure like how he's feeling today
[3:44] like I was gone all day so um and he was
[3:48] hiding when I came home he does that but
[3:51] not always wow look at this really
[3:53] you're so big you have to back up like
[3:56] that
[3:57] really I'm so sorry Dude too bad we
[4:01] can't make circles or something oh my
[4:03] God I could make a circle hold
[4:07] on look at that half circle so these are
[4:11] 10t tunnels I sent one of them back cuz
[4:13] I didn't think I had any use for this
[4:14] but if I know that's not great like
[4:17] Circle if I got um one more of those and
[4:20] then one of the small squares I could
[4:22] extend that and it would be
[4:25] awesome definitely doing
[4:27] that get stuck anymore you can go all
[4:30] the way
[4:31] across no more backing out of your space
[4:34] there you
[4:35] go you can make it Bailey Bailey Bailey
[4:41] come see me over here buddy come on come
[4:45] here come on you don't have to back up
[4:48] you don't have to do that baby baby come
[4:52] here come here come
[4:55] here come here
[4:57] buddy you don't have to do this
[5:00] that okay I'm not sure that he's figured
[5:03] that out yet it's a bit tight for him
[5:09] [Music]
[5:10] though wish they made them bigger you
[5:13] know not just longer but
[5:16] bigger yeah but yeah I'm going to get
[5:18] another one of those
[5:20] and I love having fun with this stuff
[5:23] like you can just every time it could be
[5:25] different for them
[5:28] Oliver Oe
[5:33] Alie where are you
[5:36] buddy
[5:39] Oliver wow that cat is actually hiding
[5:42] oh there you are do you want to come
[5:45] outside
[5:46] H do you want to come outside Oliver
[5:50] come see
[5:51] us
[5:53] no I don't know how I'm cleaning with
[5:55] him in there but we'll figure it out I
[5:57] know Bailey though he's going to be out
[5:59] here for hours we have a new rug I mean
[6:03] it's not like I cleaned up the floor I
[6:05] just got everything off the
[6:06] floor it's real slippery feels nice it's
[6:10] velvet but there's nothing really under
[6:12] it it's very
[6:14] thin um it says it needs 2 days to
[6:17] really recover but I guess we'll see it
[6:19] does feel nice feels nice I just wish it
[6:22] had more like padding or something not
[6:25] sure what the cats think of
[6:27] it what do you think Oliver
[6:30] you UND
[6:32] decided
[6:34] undecided may have to leave here soon
[6:36] and it's kind of scary like Thursday
[6:39] today's
[6:42] Tuesday I don't know just keep having
[6:45] these moments where I'm
[6:47] like this is so
[6:49] new finally got my dishes done and yes
[6:52] that is a lot of dishes it's because I
[6:55] could not access my sinking tell now
[6:57] like you know with stuff everywhere
[6:59] where but all clean it is so hard to
[7:03] like conserve water and do dishes let me
[7:05] tell you I put these up the other day I
[7:07] love this these are you know little
[7:09] command strips things Clips got this
[7:12] metal thing um kind of wondering if
[7:15] that's you know safe we'll find out I
[7:17] guess um probably going to keep taking
[7:19] them down like when I have to travel
[7:21] because I don't want my cats getting
[7:23] hurt this thing I have never used it but
[7:25] it is so beautiful and I would love to
[7:27] use it one day that I want to keep it
[7:28] and is super super super heavy I mean
[7:32] really heavy like I'm wondering if maybe
[7:34] I can get away with keeping that there
[7:36] while traveling I don't know and then
[7:38] this is my space up here for dishes you
[7:41] know and I just I'm trying to rethink it
[7:43] now well this and you know this
[7:47] um cuz you know I got these things on
[7:49] the floor stuff always ends up on the
[7:51] floor guys
[7:53] always um I don't know but that's what
[7:57] I'm working on now trying to figure this
[7:59] area out I will say one thing I have hot
[8:02] water I need a shower they say that like
[8:06] really bad um I was a little worried
[8:09] that the electric water heater didn't
[8:11] work cuz when I tried using it the first
[8:13] time it took like it just wasn't getting
[8:15] me water so I turned on the gas one and
[8:17] I have like no propane but it works you
[8:21] know at a campground if you just turn
[8:22] that thing on and keep it on you have
[8:25] hot water super hot water what I haven't
[8:28] figured out though was how I only as far
[8:30] as I know I only have one freshwater
[8:32] tank and there's like this blanket
[8:35] around it that turns it into hot water
[8:37] but I also have cold water so I don't
[8:40] understand how that works
[8:42] like maybe someone can explain it to me
[8:44] and I think I just figured it out in my
[8:45] head if I turn it on cold is it just
[8:47] like coming straight
[8:49] from you know straight from from there
[8:53] like somehow it can bypass I bet you
[8:55] that's how it
[8:56] works anyways tell me if I'm wrong I'd
[8:58] love to know I got this for my cats
[9:01] yesterday I was I'm planning to put it
[9:03] up here if I can cuz there's no other
[9:05] way for them to access that
[9:07] window one mistake I made was getting
[9:10] one though because they've been fighting
[9:11] over it but I'm going to try to get it
[9:14] up here I think I'm going to have to
[9:15] lose the Shelf to do it but this is a
[9:17] space for me and my cats I always have
[9:19] to be thinking about that it's not just
[9:21] mine it's theirs too and somehow they
[9:24] need access over there so this feels a
[9:27] lot more manageable now I was hoping to
[9:30] just go with these they're just some
[9:32] kind of eco-friendly like pseudo plastic
[9:36] like maybe bamboo or something I don't
[9:38] know but it just it's so hard to keep
[9:41] this area clean so that you can actually
[9:43] use them and plus you you really need
[9:46] paper I needed paper plates cuz of my
[9:48] cat the chocolates for my coffee the
[9:51] crockpots what I'm going to eat out of
[9:52] all the
[9:53] time and I just needed real silverware I
[9:56] mean I was just trying to do you know I
[9:59] don't know what I was thinking it just
[10:01] it wasn't working so this just feels
[10:03] this just feels more manageable this is
[10:06] much better these will probably fall
[10:08] down edding I actually had some tension
[10:10] rods and I took them to my mom's house
[10:12] thinking I was done with them all but I
[10:14] should have put one up there I didn't
[10:15] think about it and this is what I did
[10:18] down there I'm not a big drinker those
[10:20] will probably sit in there for years U
[10:23] my mom likes K I always liked Captain
[10:25] Morgan with Mountain
[10:27] Dew um I don't really know what to do
[10:29] with them I just you know I wasn't going
[10:30] to keep them at the
[10:31] house but I figured I'm going to need
[10:34] those like I'm going to use those a lot
[10:35] so they shouldn't just be sitting on a
[10:37] bunch of
[10:38] stuff and I don't need a lot of things
[10:40] you know I just need a few
[10:42] cleaning um supplies and I should be
[10:46] okay um one thing I'm trying to figure
[10:48] out is what to do with these I like have
[10:51] I really am into fire
[10:53] safety you know these keep tipping over
[10:56] and I just don't know where to put them
[10:57] I don't know how to secure them nothing
[11:00] I got one of these over here um but I'm
[11:03] going to put another one somewhere
[11:06] else um yeah I'm not sure let's see
[11:11] that's all I can share for the moment I
[11:13] bought this I don't know what it's
[11:15] called it's some kind of um one of you
[11:18] guys can tell me let me see if I
[11:20] can so I bought this
[11:23] because I don't know YouTubers were
[11:25] telling me to so I did Here Comes Oliver
[11:29] what's going to happen Oliver oh no he's
[11:32] laying down no don't do that don't do
[11:35] that please um anyways I was I was
[11:39] thinking maybe I would use it to cook on
[11:41] Fires or something like that I don't
[11:43] know how you know I'd have to learn but
[11:45] since it was up top but I mean there's
[11:47] just no point keeping it there until I
[11:49] at least start using it all right Oliver
[11:53] you can't stand there
[11:55] buddy but I can deny you nothing
[12:00] absolutely nothing you look so adorable
[12:02] oh my God you really
[12:04] do I guess you get to stay for now I'm
[12:07] just going to shut one so that you know
[12:09] that you shouldn't be in there and you
[12:10] should come out okay they're getting
[12:14] playful oh as soon as I turn the camera
[12:16] on of
[12:18] course
[12:19] [Music]
[12:21] really Bailey you're acting a little
[12:23] territorial over
[12:25] there now you got Oliver upset you keep
[12:29] doing that damn why do you keep doing
[12:32] that man I have to get another one of
[12:34] those or just not going to work it's
[12:37] like that at the house too right Oliver
[12:39] you deserve your own you shouldn't have
[12:43] to fight with your brother

Narrative

The Jeep came back first thing in the morning. rswfire had gone straight from the campground to his parents' house to retrieve it, and he says he went early and directly, knowing a video about that house was coming out, because he didn't want any drama. By the time he was driving back it was two or three in the afternoon. He passed his own camper without recognizing it — kept going by, thinking that little thing near the entrance belonged to someone else, not having registered how close to the entrance he actually sat. When it landed that the trailer was his, he said it out loud into the camera: he loves this life. He had been gone all day and had been worried about the cats.

He came back to a campsite that was more inventory than home. Storage totes on the pad, blue bags that fit two to a tote, a modular cat enclosure and tunnel system spread across the ground, and now a fresh load of camping gear from the bedroom at the house — the same gear he had filmed a video or two earlier. He states plainly that he does not have the space, repeats it, and says he is really trying to figure it out. Rain was in the forecast, which converted the sprawl from a staging problem into a timing problem: he decided he should probably start packing this up every day. The one thing he had actually driven over to collect — the towing gear — he got. The cubes and tunnel extensions he meant to bring, he forgot, standing right there in the room where they were.

Bailey was outside in the enclosure. Oliver was not. Oliver had been hiding when rswfire got home, which he describes as something Oliver does, though not always. Working the tunnel sections on the pad, rswfire watched Bailey hit a dead end and have to reverse out of a ten-foot tube — too big to turn around, backing up in a space that didn't fit him. He apologized to the cat. Then he saw it: a half circle, and from the half circle the idea of a full one, if he ordered one more tunnel and one of the small squares. He had sent one back, thinking he'd have no use for it. He talked Bailey through the new geometry — no more backing out of your space, you can go all the way across — and noted that Bailey hadn't figured it out yet, that it was still a bit tight for him. He says he wishes they made the tunnels bigger, not just longer. He says he loves that the pieces are modular, because it means the environment can be different for them every time.

Inside, the floor was cleared enough for a new rug. He was precise about what that meant: he had not cleaned the floor, he had only gotten everything off it. The rug is velvet, thin, no padding, slippery, and the instructions say it needs two days to recover from being rolled. He asked Oliver what he thought of it and reported the verdict as undecided. At the threshold, the shoes-off habit was still forming — he says it's important, and also that the shoes take up so much room. Somewhere in the middle of that, he mentioned that Carolyn had shared the video he made about her, that he'd only just learned it, that he was shocked, and that all he could say was thank you. She inspires him. He's here. He's doing it.

Then the sink. He finally got to the dishes — a lot of dishes, and he explained why: he hadn't been able to reach the sink until now, with everything everywhere. He describes conserving water while washing dishes as genuinely hard. He had hot water, which he wanted for a shower badly, and had briefly worried the electric heater was dead before switching to gas and finding it worked, propane nearly gone, at a campground where you can just leave it on. He worked out the freshwater question aloud on camera — one tank, a blanket around it that makes it hot, yet cold water also comes out — and arrived at a hypothesis mid-sentence, that the cold line must bypass the heater, and asked whoever was watching to tell him if he was wrong. Above the sink he'd put up command-strip clips and a heavy metal piece, and he was already thinking in travel mode: he'd probably take them down before moving, because he doesn't want the cats getting hurt. The heavy thing he has never used and thinks is beautiful, and would like to use one day. The cast piece he bought because YouTubers told him to, meant maybe for cooking on fires, he decided to move down — no point keeping it up top until he actually starts using it.

The cabinet reorganization ran on the same logic. The eco-friendly pseudo-plastic dishes hadn't worked, because keeping that area clean enough to use them was too hard. He switched to paper plates and real silverware and says it simply feels more manageable. The liquor he isn't likely to drink got stowed rather than displayed. Cleaning supplies got cut to a few. The fire extinguishers kept tipping over and he doesn't yet know how to secure them or where they belong — he says he's really into fire safety, has one placed, wants another somewhere else, hasn't solved it. The window perch bought for the cats still needed mounting, and mounting it means losing a shelf, which he was prepared to do: he says this is a space for him and his cats, that he always has to be thinking about that, that it's not just his, it's theirs too. One perch turned out to be a mistake — they've been fighting over it. When Bailey got territorial and set Oliver off, he told Oliver he deserves his own, that he shouldn't have to fight with his brother, and noted it was like that at the house too. Oliver, meanwhile, had come out, laid down in a spot he wasn't supposed to occupy, and stayed, because rswfire says he can deny him nothing.

It was getting late. He said he had a batch of clips from the day, in no particular order, that he'd share — he just wanted day 13 documented — and then get to what needed doing around the trailer. He may have to leave here soon. Thursday, and today is Tuesday. He says he keeps having these moments where it strikes him how new all of this is, and that it's kind of scary. Then, of the sink and the cabinet and the cleared floor: this feels a lot more manageable now.

Summary

rswfire documents day 13 of full-time RV living, recording a series of unordered clips from the day's activity at his campsite.

He reports retrieving his Jeep first thing in the morning, going straight to his parents' house to collect it before a video about them released, stating he wanted to avoid drama. While at the house he picked up additional camping gear from his bedroom and notes he forgot the modular cube pieces he intended to get. He describes an ongoing storage constraint — one of his storage poles holds two blue bags, and he is deciding what to pack away daily, especially with rain forecast.

Interior work covered:

  • New velvet rug laid down after clearing the floor; notes it is thin and needs two days to settle
  • Dishes completed for the first time since the sink became accessible; describes conserving water as difficult
  • Command strips and clips installed; a heavy decorative metal item retained but not yet used
  • Kitchen setup reworked toward paper plates and real silverware as more manageable
  • Fire extinguisher placement and securing still unresolved

He confirms hot water works via the gas heater and asks viewers to explain the freshwater tank and cold-water bypass, stating his own working theory.

He reconfigures tunnel modules for Bailey and Oliver, forming a half circle so Bailey no longer has to back out, and notes he needs a second window perch since the cats fight over one. He states Carolyn shared the video he made about her and thanks her. He notes he may have to leave the site Thursday.

Interior and exterior of a travel trailer at a campground, day 13 of full-time RV living. The recording moves between the campsite pad outside — storage totes, blue bags, a modular cat enclosure and tunnel system — and the trailer interior: entry rug area, kitchen sink and dish space, upper cabinet shelving, and a window the cats need access to.

A Jeep was retrieved earlier the same day, with a stop at the house/parents' house to collect camping gear from the bedroom. Two cats, Bailey and Oliver, are present throughout — Bailey outside in the enclosure, Oliver moving in and out of hiding. Weather is a factor: rain is forecast, and a departure date of Thursday is noted against a current Tuesday.

Substrate

The architecture being held is habitat design under hard volume constraint — every object must earn a location, and the location must survive motion, rain, and two animals. rswfire operates as systems designer of a living space that is explicitly shared: the recurring test is not 'does this fit' but 'does this work for me and the cats.' What is being dissolved is the assumption set carried over from a house (bulk storage, ceramic dishware, permanent placement); what is being built is a modular, re-configurable, travel-tolerant configuration where mobility is a design input rather than an interruption.
