[0:00] hi everyone so it's after midnight here
[0:03] I'll be going to sleep soon but I wanted
[0:05] to let you know everything's going
[0:07] great um I spent the day at my house I
[0:11] left in the
[0:12] morning and drove there with the cats
[0:16] who Bailey really does not like driving
[0:19] in a car riding in a
[0:21] car um I left him with my Mom they're
[0:25] both over at my mom's house right now I
[0:28] figured you know it gives me a break
[0:31] from them so that I can kind of get
[0:32] stuff organized in here and she loves my
[0:35] cats to death
[0:37] so you know and
[0:42] well part of me is wondering if I should
[0:44] just let her have them I love my cats I
[0:48] really love them but I just don't know
[0:50] if they fit into this new lifestyle I've
[0:53] made and I'm trying
[0:55] to guess it's sort of like a trial
[0:58] period to see
[1:00] will my cats be happy there will they
[1:02] get along with my mom's cat well you
[1:06] know is it is it a solution that
[1:10] works um I would miss my cats very
[1:14] much I think that they like it here but
[1:20] I mean Oliver bolted out the door
[1:22] yesterday and it took me 15 minutes to
[1:24] get
[1:26] him Bailey's winding out all the time
[1:29] now I just
[1:31] I guess I I just worry that I'm not
[1:35] going to be able to control them and
[1:36] they're going to get loose one day and
[1:39] then I would be really sad about that
[1:42] they just their safety is really
[1:44] important and then it's just it's a
[1:47] small space and I just don't know if
[1:49] it's a good enough environment for them
[1:52] I'm and also it's partly selfish like I
[1:55] want I want to do something new and
[2:01] just everything from my old life was
[2:03] holding me back and that does include my
[2:05] cats I mean it just does and I love them
[2:11] but I'm just in this new phase of my
[2:13] life where I just I'm not sure if I mean
[2:18] they're my cats if things don't work out
[2:20] over there they're coming right back you
[2:22] know just I don't know it's just
[2:25] something I'm debating I'm contemplating
[2:27] I I wasn't even planning on mentioning
[2:29] it yeah but yeah I mean I guess you guys
[2:32] can let me know what you think about
[2:34] that see I have an issue
[2:37] where you know I've been abandoned and I
[2:40] just because of it
[2:42] I feel very strongly about being
[2:46] responsible for the lives that you take
[2:49] on in life and so the idea of giving my
[2:53] cats to my mom it feels like abandonment
[2:56] and I just
[3:00] I don't just the very idea of it really
[3:03] doesn't sit well with me so as far as
[3:06] the house um it's just about empty now
[3:11] uh one of my neighbors bought some of my
[3:13] things they bought like my outdoor
[3:14] decking they bought or not decking they
[3:17] my outdoor patio
[3:19] furniture um they bought my washer and
[3:22] dryer like for real cheap right like
[3:26] definitely not for what they were worth
[3:27] but it got them out of my house and gave
[3:29] me a little extra
[3:30] money um my friend Brandon and a friend
[3:34] of his came over and helped me get rid
[3:37] of a lot of stuff a lot of stuff went to
[3:39] my parents like um like I replaced their
[3:43] couches and their beds and things like
[3:45] that and Brandon took some things and I
[3:48] learned that Brandon's
[3:50] friend is kind of starting out like
[3:53] starting
[3:54] over um and doesn't have a lot of things
[3:56] where he lives so I gave him a bunch of
[3:59] stuff that originally we were going to
[4:02] have a yard sale tomorrow but there's
[4:05] not enough stuff for that now like I I
[4:08] just felt really good about being able
[4:10] to help somebody like I've been in his
[4:12] position more than once in my life and
[4:15] it felt like like synchronicity or
[4:18] something that I was able to help this
[4:20] guy and it made me really happy that I
[4:22] could do
[4:23] that so a lot of my stuff went to him to
[4:27] my parents to Brandon
[4:30] um and then I mean Brandon bought a
[4:32] bunch of stuff too and then um my books
[4:36] are going to the library some things
[4:37] went to Goodwill I'm not sure what my
[4:39] mom handled that there's still some
[4:43] things at the house but not a lot and
[4:44] what is there like quite a bit of it
[4:47] stuff I need to bring here still and
[4:49] figure out where how I'm going to have
[4:53] it
[4:55] here so I did I me I don't know if I
[4:58] mentioned this so one of the reasons I
[5:00] just wanted my cats to stay with my mom
[5:02] it's cuz like they're just super in the
[5:05] way when I'm trying to like do work in
[5:08] here and like I have a lot to do like
[5:11] this needs to go up
[5:13] higher um you know I got to do
[5:15] everything about the slide like I got a
[5:18] bunch of little projects to do now um
[5:21] and I'm going to do those this weekend
[5:22] so that's my plan for this
[5:25] weekend um I am going to have to leave
[5:27] this campground on the 25th I never
[5:29] heard back from them I haven't made
[5:31] plans for somewhere else um I really
[5:34] don't want to go to be country now after
[5:36] reading that warning from from that
[5:38] place so I do need to find somewhere
[5:41] else I'm starting to embrace the idea of
[5:44] maybe I don't stay as long as two weeks
[5:46] somewhere I really do want to be
[5:48] somewhere like that so that I can like
[5:52] really explore an area but I'm not even
[5:53] at that point yet I'm just still trying
[5:56] to get my bearings in here oh God
[6:00] there's a ladybug in
[6:01] here sorry guys I like ladybugs I really
[6:05] do but they are pests and campers and I
[6:08] did not know that um they will infest
[6:12] your space like ants will it's crazy I
[6:15] did not know they did that um I'm trying
[6:20] so hard to keep this place like like
[6:24] sterile so anyways gosh what was I even
[6:27] talking about now
[6:30] um I really don't have a whole lot to
[6:32] say I just wanted you guys to know I'm
[6:35] fine cuz you know if you're following
[6:37] along you know I've been going through a
[6:39] straw but I'm fine I'm I'm managing like
[6:42] I'm not you know I am tapering so it's
[6:45] not that
[6:46] bad
[6:48] um oh I know what I was talking about
[6:51] so you know I'm just still at the stage
[6:54] of just trying to get to where I can
[6:57] really truly live this life because like
[7:00] it's real hard like there's so much
[7:01] stuff there right there's no way I could
[7:03] pull my SL in right now
[7:05] so man it has just been so hard and I
[7:09] just hopefully this weekend I will
[7:11] finally be done with that and
[7:13] then you know I've got like 10 days
[7:16] until you know my lease is over and I
[7:19] have to have everything out of that
[7:20] house before
[7:21] then I think I'll make it cuz there's
[7:24] not a lot left um what is left I mean
[7:28] it's sad to say but it's going to end up
[7:29] up in the dumpster except for the stuff
[7:32] that I'm bringing here and I just have
[7:33] to figure out you know where I'm going
[7:35] to put it I brought some books um I
[7:41] just could not part with all of them and
[7:44] I thought about how I would do like
[7:46] where I would put them and I'll explain
[7:48] that
[7:49] later
[7:51] um I don't know I have way more stuff
[7:54] than I should I truly do like I'm trying
[7:57] to embrace this new lifestyle out and
[8:00] really
[8:02] struggling with the space limitations
[8:05] because I got rid of a lot of stuff but
[8:09] I still have too much stuff and I I
[8:11] don't know how that's possible but it
[8:14] is oh man so I mean that's really it I
[8:18] just want to let you guys know that I'm
[8:20] doing well I hope you guys are doing
[8:21] well um if you don't hear from me for a
[8:25] couple days don't worry I'm good I just
[8:27] I'm going to be super focused on getting
[8:30] this place where I need to and then I
[8:33] will update you and just show you around
[8:35] because I'm I love what I'm doing to it
[8:38] I can't wait till it's done and then
[8:41] after that um I do want to start getting
[8:43] out there and exploring the area
[8:46] so um I think I'll have a few days here
[8:49] still if I can get everything done this
[8:50] weekend and
[8:52] then um I'm planning my main trip I
[8:57] don't know what to call it I mean it's
[8:58] my life so so but I mean it's a long
[9:00] trip it'll take years and I want to
[9:03] share that with you too I'm going to
[9:04] kind of give you an outline of how I how
[9:07] I imagine it all going so you know it's
[9:11] not like it's not like sattin Stone like
[9:16] these places I go to like there might be
[9:18] stops along the way or um you know cuz
[9:21] I'll learn a lot about the areas I might
[9:23] even learn it from you guys like once
[9:25] you learn where I'm going and stuff like
[9:27] you might have suggestions or whatever
[9:29] and so totally open to all of that
[9:34] um yeah I I still feel really good about
[9:38] all of this I don't no regrets
[9:41] and no real anxiety and no no real fears
[9:45] like
[9:46] like um it's just amazing how far I've
[9:51] come from those first few videos you
[9:54] know knowing I wanted to do
[9:57] this not realizing there was even a
[10:00] community
[10:01] like you know cuz I didn't see anything
[10:04] on YouTube about it
[10:07] until like I was well into the process
[10:10] of buying an RV and just
[10:15] like I
[10:23] just I mean if anything I feel like mine
[10:27] is a story that just tells you
[10:29] that you really
[10:32] can overcome a lot I don't know how you
[10:36] do it cuz I don't know how I did it but
[10:39] it's
[10:40] possible
[10:43] um I hope these videos aren't too boring
[10:46] I I feel like they kind of are but yeah
[10:50] yeah I'm I'm tired it's been a super
[10:53] super long day good night everybody

Narrative

The day began with a drive. rswfire left the campground in the morning with both cats in the car and took the road back to the house — Bailey riding badly, as he states Bailey always does. At the other end of it was his mother's house, where he left them both. He describes the handoff in practical terms: it gave him a break, gave him room to organize the RV, and his mother loves the cats. Both animals stayed behind when he drove on.

The house he arrived at was already most of the way gone. What remained went out through people. A neighbor bought the patio furniture and the washer and dryer, cheap — rswfire states plainly that the price was well under what they were worth, and that what it bought him was clearance and a little cash. His friend Brandon came with a friend of his, and the two of them helped move volume out the door. The couches and beds went to his parents, replacing what they had. Brandon bought some things and took others. And then rswfire learned that Brandon's friend was starting over, without much where he lived — so a large share of what was left went to him. The yard sale planned for the next day was called off; there was no longer enough to sell. rswfire states he has been in that man's position more than once in his life, that giving to him felt like synchronicity, and that being able to do it made him happy.

The rest dispersed along its own channels. Books to the library, though not all of them — he states he could not part with all of them, brought some back, and has already worked out in his head where they will live in the RV. Some things went to Goodwill; his mother handled that, and he isn't certain what went. What is still in the house divides into two piles: the part he will haul to the campground and then have to find room for, and the part that, he states, is going to end up in the dumpster. Ten days remain on the lease. He states he thinks he'll make it, because there isn't much left.

After midnight he was back inside the RV, camera on, addressing the people following the channel. The interior was still not operational — items stacked, the slide unable to come in, small projects queued for the weekend, a fixture that needs to go up higher. He describes this as the active difficulty: he got rid of a great deal and still has too much, and states he doesn't know how that's possible, but it is. A ladybug came into frame mid-recording. He apologized for it, said he likes ladybugs, and then noted what he had recently learned about them — that in campers they infest like ants — while stating he is trying to keep the space sterile.

The logistics thinned out from there into open questions. He must leave this campground on the 25th and has heard nothing back about staying. He has not secured a next site. He states he no longer wants Bay Country after reading a warning about the place, and that he is starting to loosen his attachment to two-week stays, even though what he wants is the kind of stay long enough to actually explore an area. That's not where he is yet. He states he is still getting his bearings in here. Further out is the long trip — years of it, still unsketched for the audience, which he says he'll outline soon and hold loosely, open to their suggestions once they know the route.

Threaded through the whole recording, returned to and not closed, was the cat question. rswfire states he loves them, that they may like it here, that Oliver bolted out the door the day before and took fifteen minutes to recover, that Bailey is winding out constantly now, that the space is small, that their safety matters to him, and that part of the reasoning is selfish — that everything from his old life was holding him back and that includes them. He frames the placement at his mother's as a trial: will they be happy, will they get along with her cat, does the solution work. If it doesn't, he states, they come right back. And then he named the boundary the trial runs against — that having been abandoned, he holds strongly to being responsible for the lives you take on, and that giving the cats to his mother reads to him as abandonment and does not sit well. He states he hadn't planned on mentioning it at all, and then asked the audience what they thought.

He closed by telling them he's fine, that he's managing, that the tapering is ongoing and it isn't that bad, and that if they don't hear from him for a few days it's only because he's focused on the build. He stated no regrets, no real anxiety, no real fears. He said it was amazing how far he'd come from those first few videos, before he knew there was even a community for this — that if his story tells anyone anything, it's that you really can overcome a lot, though he stated he doesn't know how he did it. Then he said he hoped the videos weren't too boring, said he was tired, that it had been a very long day, and said good night.

Summary

Recording after midnight from inside the RV, rswfire reports on the day spent at his house completing the move-out. He drove there with the cats, who are now staying at his mom's house, and states he is weighing whether to leave them there permanently — citing the small space, Oliver bolting out the door, Bailey's dislike of car travel, and his own stated desire for a new phase unencumbered by his old life. He names that the idea reads to him as abandonment, and states that if it doesn't work they come right back.

The house is described as nearly empty. Disposition of belongings:

  • Neighbors bought the patio furniture and washer/dryer at low prices
  • Brandon and a friend helped clear items; Brandon bought and took some
  • Furniture went to his parents, replacing their couches and beds
  • A large amount went to Brandon's friend, who is starting over — rswfire describes this as synchronicity and states it made him happy
  • Books to the library, some items to Goodwill, remainder to the dumpster

A planned yard sale is cancelled for lack of inventory. He has roughly 10 days until the lease ends and must leave the campground on the 25th, with no next site secured; he ruled out one location after a warning and is considering shorter stays.

He describes weekend projects inside the rig, ladybug intrusion, ongoing space limitations, and states he is tapering. He closes by outlining plans to map a multi-year route and share it.

Environment

Interior of the RV, recorded after midnight from a campground site rswfire states he must vacate on the 25th. The space is described as still unsettled — the slide cannot be pulled in, items are stacked, small build projects are pending, and a ladybug enters mid-recording, which he identifies as a recurring camper-space intrusion.

A second location is referenced across the signal: the house, driven to that morning with the cats, now near-empty ten days out from lease end. A third is his mother's house, where both cats are currently placed. The transmission itself is directed to a YouTube audience he addresses directly and invites input from.

Substrate

The architecture held here is a controlled dissolution: a fixed household is being disassembled item by item into a redistribution network (neighbors, parents, friends, a stranger starting over, library, Goodwill, dumpster) while a smaller mobile container is simultaneously being built out. The ontological position is that a life can be rebuilt at reduced volume without the divestment becoming loss — but rswfire holds one boundary explicitly outside that calculus: he states an ethic of being responsible for the lives you take on, and names the cat question as unresolved because placing them reads to him as abandonment. The signal's structural tension is between two coherent commitments — volumetric reduction and non-abandonment — with no resolution asserted.

Expressed modes of being or awareness.

transitional (mid-divestment; one dwelling dissolving, another not yet operational)
sovereign-by-choice (states no regrets, no real anxiety, no real fears about the change)
obligated (holds a stated ethic of responsibility for lives taken on, which the cat question sits directly against)
unresolved-by-stance (cat placement framed as trial, debate, contemplation — held open rather than closed)
reciprocal (positions himself as having been in the receiving position, now in the giving one)

Engaged Subsystems

Architecture engaged in this transmission.

logistical (house clearance, lease deadline, campground exit date, next-site search)
ethical (responsibility for dependent lives; refusal to read the placement as neutral)
economic (undervalued sales, cheap disposal, small cash recovery)

You are recording after midnight from inside a vehicle you cannot yet close. The slide will not pull in. Items are stacked where they landed. A ladybug is in the space with you and you name it as a pest and as something you like, in the same sentence, without resolving the two. You state you are tired, that the day was long, and that you will sleep soon. The energy is low and level — not depleted, not driving. You are reporting at the end of a day of physical labor, and the report holds its line from open to close.

Two structures are moving in opposite directions at once. The house is being emptied — patio furniture and a washer and dryer to a neighbor at prices you name as below worth, couches and beds to your parents, a load to Brandon, a load to Brandon's friend, books to the library, some things to Goodwill by your mother's hand, the remainder to a dumpster. The RV is being built up — fixture height, the slide, small projects, storage for the books you state you could not part with. You are ten days from lease end and five days from a campground exit you have no destination for. You state you never heard back, that you have not made other plans, and that one option is now ruled out on a warning you read. The next site is the most concrete absence in the signal, and you name it without urgency.

The cats sit at your mother's house and you name that placement as a trial. You state you love them, that you would miss them, that they are in the way while you work, that Oliver bolted and took fifteen minutes to recover, that Bailey howls, that you worry about control and safety and whether the space is a good enough environment. You state that part of it is selfish, that everything from your old life was holding you back, and that this includes them. Then you state the counterweight directly: you have been abandoned, and because of it you hold that a person is responsible for the lives they take on. You say the idea does not sit well with you. You say if it does not work out they come right back. You say you were not planning to mention it. You mention it, put it to the audience, and leave it open. No conclusion is asserted anywhere in the signal.

You position yourself twice as having been in the receiving position — with Brandon's friend, who is starting over, and in the general claim that you have been in that position more than once. You name giving him your things as synchronicity and state it made you happy. That is the only place in the transmission where you name a feeling as good without qualification. Elsewhere the accounting is flat: things sold cheap, things gotten out of the house, a little extra money.

You address the audience directly and repeatedly. You tell them you are fine, that you are managing, that you are tapering and it is not that bad, that if they do not hear from you for a few days they should not worry. You state no regrets, no real anxiety, no real fears. You state that you have more stuff than you should and that you do not know how that is possible. You solicit route input for a trip you say will take years and that you decline to name. You ask whether the videos are boring. What is present is the work, the deadline, the network the household is dissolving into, and one commitment you will not fold into the volumetric calculation. What is absent is a next address, a decision about the cats, and any request for help with either.
